If this gets us tony sporano it will be a good thing to me.

If it gets us mike tice as the coach, well ok I guess.

I simply don't get all the anger over John Garrett.
People don't need to be vocal to not like the guy.

He didn't develop anyone since he has been here, and we've got some tight ends that had some talent.
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

It's a standard practice to bash anything and everything Cowboys when a player or coach leaves.
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

I love how people pretend as if we were 12-4 the last few years...

Where did I say that?

You "realists" really need to quit making up things as you go.

This roster has issues with personnel moreso than the coaching but let's pretend that everyone is great and overrate the talent.

Spags posted that he was going to the Bucs in an article, but it was just a one-liner, so I didn't know what to think about it.

Wonder who they have in mind to replace him..
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

I'm still confused

Whose move was this?

Did Jason want to part ways with his brother? If so, why?

Did Jerry force this move? If so, why? He's the TE coach after all, not exactly a staff defining role. Is he just trying to throw his weight around?

Is John moving on 100% on his own accord? If so, why is he making a lateral move to work with a head coach he has no prior working relationship with?

The roster has issues? It's the coaches job to develop the roster. Too often players don't amount to anything here, and go else where and suddenly flourish under legitimate coaching.

I would have no problem with John Garrett if he developed a tight end. And then despite not developing anyone, he is promoted to passing game coordinator. How has our passing game been coordinated? Not well I'd say.

Only coach on this offense worth anything is Robinson. Callahan is TBD. The rest have been garbage.

From what I read, and I can't think of which article, but Jason told John that he should look for another job.

He was the passing game coordinator as well as the te coach.

I understand.

John Phillips was on his way until that second acl surgery slowed him down.

Tony sporano was beloved here....(particularly by me) but he only developed witten, and really was only his coach for a couple years, pasqualoni before that and Freddie kitchens after sporano.

Sean Ryan was a 4 th round pick and he washed out immediately. Sporano couldn't "develop" him. Brett pierce, Dan Campbell played well under sporano/pasqualoni though.

In 2007 witten, fasano and tony Curtis all played well under Garrett.

Bennett is a mental case with bad hands. Hardly a reason to crucify John Garrett.

I am just confused as to where the angst comes from.

So what players flourished elsewhere?

If you say Bennett, I'm just going to laugh...

I don't think it's that deep. It's all about his last name for some. Others may have diff reasons, but I think that's a big part of it.

I have no hate for the owner, staff and team. But coaching has been a major issue and I am glad there are changes.
