I am thrilled that Eberflus is back. The only problem I have is that much of the hype created around Eberflus was done by Ryan.
So if Ryan is now gone and shown to be not so great, then why should I count his opinion as fact? Yes, it did seem that our LB corp did pretty well under the mix-n-match circumstances, but logically the biggest factor in my liking Eberflus was something I read about from Ryan's perspective.
I just hope the hype is real is all.

There's an article on dc.com that says most of this. The last line is interesting:
As for the offensive side of the ball, there are still holes to fill. The Cowboys will need to hire coaches for the running backs, tight ends and possibly wide receivers
What's going on Robinson?

To me it seems that Jerry has left the offensive positions open for a new coordinator to hire his own people.

He is thinking of retiring. Not the Steelers version either.

Age and work ethic go hand in hand, I think. With increased age, the ability to put in the extra work becomes more difficult.

As long as they keep Boniol. Don't want to mess with Dan Bailey's rhythm. DeHaven is OK I guess...he is better than DeCamillis at coordinating blocking schemes for punt and kickoff returns

Personally I can't get too excited about a ST coach. Seems that who ever we get, our ST will have problems. We have too many depth guys on our team that we need to keep as backups, but can't play ST well (Like Ogletree, although he'l probably be gone in 2013). Until we can trim our 53 to include more guys who excel on ST, we will have problems.

Thanks for that tidbit. Emotionally, I'm psyched about it. But logically I didn't have enough real info. This helps.

Michelle gets upset with me for doing that so I have stopped stirring up the ants. Sooner or later they were going to sting me anyway.
So the moral of the story is to let sleeping ants lie.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.
