Tyrone Crawford at DT?
Calvin Watkins @calvinwatkins
Jerry Jones said he can see Tyrone Crawford as DT in 4-3.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

What does Kiffin say?
I think Rat/Hatcher will be the DT's.

For once, Jerry may not be wrong. Hatch, if I'm not mistaken, is only signed through 2013. He could learn under Hatch/Rat.

I think this team has a boat-load of 4-3 DT's...
Lissmore
Spears
Hatcher
Ratliff
Crawford
4-3 DE?
Ware
...And not much else.

In this day and age, you rotate out your DT's so you end up with 3 or 4 guys as de-facto starters.

I like to see them give him a shot at left end and if that doesn't work move him inside. Or use him like the Giants used Tuck. Outside on run downs and inside on the nickel.

I agree with you. I'm think DE is a much bigger need than DT at this point.

Right. Crawford is the most suited for 4-3 DE of that group. So why stick him in the DT rotation?

Chances are he's just repeating what Kiffen told him. Or what anyone with 2 eyes can see.

You're right in that he's probably better suited for being a 4-3 DE than the others.
But he's probably not the best option for being a starting 4-3 DE.

Not in a Giants style 4-3, but he is very similar to a Strong-Side DE in the Kiffin style defenses.
I think he can player either the 3-tech DT or the SDE.

Yeah, you're probably right.
I just think the Cowboys will come up with a better option at DE.

I like that idea. I think the Cowboys should have been doing it with Rat for a long time.
he does not have the ability of Tuck though, I don't think, so who knows if it would work as well.
