You make a good case for why you feel that way, but in the past we've all been guilty (including jerry) of believing we've diagnosed the problem and provided a solution, only to find out that the diagnosis was wrong.
Don't get me wrong, i don't care for Garrett's playcalling at all. I've just seen similar situations to this, where Jerry addresses the change that is believed to be necessary, only to find out that there are a slew of other issues.
We got Rob Ryan who was believed to be an ultra aggressive, ultra creative defensive mind. This was supposed to solve the issue with the lack of pressure... his style was supposed to be just what we needed..... 2 yrs later... fired. And Monte Kiffin is the new hot name (and i'm just as guilty as everyone else because i'm thoroughly excited about the switch to 4-3)
Callahan was supposed to be the O-Line wizard that was going to resurrect the careers of Bernadeau and Livings, and maximize the talent of Free, Smith, & Costa..... ummm yeah, no.
Now Callahan is our knight in shining armor that will provide just the right solution to our offensive woes.... i gotta pump the brakes here. I'm at a point that i just have to see it to believe it.
i get the excitement. i totally get it, and i'm not criticizing any posters here. I just can't help the been there done that feeling i have in my gut right now. not completely sold just yet. the draft and free agency will do a lot to ease my concerns if we do a good job there.

Didn't you know that Gandalf is just a myth and only God can create miracles?
Callahan needs more talent!
Garrett to players: Make today a great day; go about the business of winning! If you can't keep up then don't step up.

I hear you but I think that Callahan improved our offensive line the best he could considering what he was working with. Toward the end of the season there was noticable improvement.

I hope so, too! They have risen from the ashes before so they can do it again!

some would say Smith regressed. i'm not worried about Smith at all, i think he'll be fine. but i think it's imperative that we get some better talent on that line with him.
If we don't, we still won't have a running game. In my opinion, Murray is one of the best backs in the league. if you can't maximize his talent, and you become one dimensional again, i think you run into the same problem regardless of who's calling plays. and it goes back to that o-line not being able to buy Romo the time he needs, or provide Murray the lanes he needs.
We'll see though. i don't know any more than you do, so i can't say you're wrong. but i'm just not quite sold yet.

Well your right, If we can't run the ball then any WC play action plays that utilize Romos feet will be irrelevant. We must add a few blue chips to the O-Line. I think we add one through free agency and draft one maybe as early as the second round.
