This thread is being taken at face value? I'd have thought it was pretty transparent what it was to begin with.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Saliva is worse than DUIs and manslaughter?

Cool.
Salvia, isn't that some kind of Mexican killer weed?

Murder? Are you really using the word murder ? Of course it was a way to arouse the viewers and gain attention. But really?

Jerry Brown was not murdered dude. He was killed. A very unfortunate, ACCIDENTAL death. Not murder

To use the word Murder, and in your thread title is silly.

And by definition. murder is:

committed with malice aforethought, characterized by deliberation or premeditation.

Is there a button lower than ignore?
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

The stupidest thing I have read on this board. Garrett did not try to exploit anything.

A few players all over the NFL get DUIs and some drink and drive, but never get caught doing it. It isn't their coaches or their general managers or their owners fault or the fault of Roger Goodell. Just like it wouldn't be your bosses fault if you went out and got a DUI. MADD and other organizations have been spreading the message for years and guess what some individuals still make their own decisions to drink and drive. It is not up to Garrett to control what his players do and it is idiotic to think that he has that kind of power.

People who think this is just a Dallas problem are clueless.

IRVING, Texas — Since January 2000, NFL players have been arrested at least 624 times on various charges, including 42 times this year, according to data compiled by USA TODAY Sports.

Of those 624 arrests, 177 (28%) were arrested because they were suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

It's not Garrett's fault that Rat drank and drove - that's ridiculous.

But is it Garrett's fault that the RKG process is a phantom? Is it Garrett's fault that the culture change we've heard so much about is a myth? Is it Garrett's fault that our roster is still as chock full of bad apples as any other team in the league.

Yes.

Do what you say you will do, Jason.

RKG is BS. It is isn't relevant to talk about for either of the two camps that have formed in here. Every coach would like to have RKGs. Also, there is no real correlation from poor off-the-field behavior and losing games.

Seems like the list of players being killed and arrested is ever-growing under a coach who was supposed to bring discipline and accountability to the franchise.

Conversely, how many arrests occurred during the Parcells tenure here? I believe it was zero.

Quincy failed a drug test after leading the team to the playoffs, and was immediately cut. Brent killed a guy, and was invited to hang out on the sidelines.

Seems like there's a stark contract between what's being told to us from the podium vs. what's actually occurring in real life.

Did Garrett really get through to these guys after the Brent incident? 100% doubt it now.

DUI is pretty serious. Come on now, guy.
