Default Cowboys break 1/23

They make a great point on the designated june 1 cut. You can make 2 in a yr. And they say dont be suprised to see Free and Ratliff designated. They havent heard anything but they know the team isnt happy.

They seem to flip flop on Free a bit. Couple of days ago, Free was for sure staying.

I would be flip-flopping too. Do I cut him and hope to find someone better or cut him and he goes elsewhere and finds his groove again?

Do I move him to guard maybe?

Too many questions with him. He has the ability to be decent and he has the ability to suck. What to do, what to do?

I think the line has too many holes to cut one of them that "maybe" can turn it around, IDK though
Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.

Pretty easy decision for me.

Free sucked and costs too much money.

Cut him.

It is extremely bothersome that Ratliff went down this road, in light of what happened with two of his teammates. I hope his days as a Cowboy are over!

Yes I would definitely cut Free and Ratliff... It's time for new blood.

You cut him fast. He was literally pitiful last year. We don't need a weak minded player like that on our team.

I never want to see Free's face again.

Ratliff will be kept for football reasons.

This.

I'll suffer whatever cap consequences come with it now to be rid of the contract mistake for the future.

It's not all the team's fault on this one - they had a huge need and Free did have a good season - I would have been duped too.

That said, admit mistake, correct mistake, move on.

What reason are those?

Injury?

Bad attitude?

Bad contract?

Drunk driving?

Even more than Free, I want to see this malcontent punted out the door.

From Team Captain to Team Cancer.

I would agree if if it was that easy and without any kind of cap hit at all. I don't know the exact number, but it is still expensive towards the cap even if cut. So, we still have a cap hit and need another new lineman, which to get a good one, will be expensive. I am worried he gets cut and they try to replace with another Bern or someone because they can't afford to get a RT via FA.

There are too many other needs to add a RT to the list IMO. We need a NT, safety, a few new O-lineman and maybe another DE/T. Not to mention another WR that would be a fit into a WCO, Ogletree will be gone I think, but maybe Beasley gets more PT.

But I do agree, Free sucked and needs to be replaced sooner than later.
Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.
