If it's the truth, .. yes.

Then nobody would get bent out of shape when they find out the next day.

Just say, .. she will be lip synching because it is too cold and she may hurt her voice.

Who cares, we all know Beyonce has great vocals. She has nothing to prove.
If you build it, he will run...

You still haven't addressed how that changes anything...

lol, children's song about barbiturate capsules.

but fine whatever how about this

"She's a brick house, she's mighty mighty
And just lettin' it all hang out and she's a brick house
And like lady's stacked and that's the fact
Ain't holding nothing back, she's a brick house
We're here together everybody knows
This is how the story goes
She knows she's got everything
That a woman needs to get a man
How can she lose with the sex she use
36-24-36, what a winning hand"

It changes their reaction.

If people were aware that Beyonce was going to lip-synch before hand, they would not respond so surprised afterwards. Or be surprised at all.

People made a big deal out of it the day afterwards because it surprised them that she did.

I can't say it any simpler than that.

I hate when people have trouble comprehending.

Why are they surprised, and why would hearing about it before the fact make a difference in regards to their opinion of it?

The music director who worked with Whitney claims she didn't lip-synch the National Anthem at the SB. He said with the crowd noise and fly over of the jets it would be impossible for her to keep her pitch on unless it was performed live. He said because there was some talk of her lip-synching the National Anthem to quiet everyone down she sang it again at another event but did so acapella which is without any instrumental and she once again nailed it.

I don't think Houston syned it either. That girl could sing in a driving rainstorm.

Performing the National Anthem live especially at a SB in front of the world or at an inauguration can be terrifying for even the most accomplished singers. It's been flubbed many times but it can be screwed up when lip-syncing to live music if everything isn't synchronized. The timing has to be just right between the live band and the recorded voice or it becomes obvious the song is pre recorded and being lip-synced. Many at the inauguration noticed the band wasn't really playing they were faking it which is what got everyone wondering if Beyonce was lip-syncing.

This wasn't the case during Whitney's rendition of the National Anthem at the SB the band was clearly playing their instruments plus she was having to deal with crowd noise. If you go back and carefully listen to Whitney's performance near the end of it as the crowd begins to cheer she raises her voice right at that moment. It's impossible to time that out if the song wasn't done live. To me that was clear evidence that she was actually singing that night. The only reason some still think Whitney lip-synced the National Anthem was because her performance was so perfect. Even in a studio it usually takes a number of takes to get a song just right.
