Default Dallas still needs coaches
Dallas has replaced almost everyone on the coaching staff amd still has a few holes remaining.
RB coach
TE coach
OL coach(unless Callahan will continue as well as calling plays)

Any news that I haven't heard about these coaching positions.

Default Cowboys Coaches: Is JG waiting for coach from SB teams?
Guys:

I don't understand the hold up on hiring new coaches. There is something really strange going on or they are waiting for someone to become available.

I have trouble speculating that they are waiting on someone from the SB teams, but I guess that is a possibility. Maybe someone from SF to tweak the running game (I heard they have a diverse running game).

One other possibility: Jerry and JG are fussing about play calling or can't agree on which coaches to hire. Example: Jerry backed off on insistance that JG will not call plays.

Anybody heard anything?

I heard that it takes time to hire the right coaches, and that just paying the biggest name out there isn't exactly the best way to go. there is zero rush to fill these spots, since we don't have any football related activities for awhile. Best to take the time to find the right coach that fits the team, and what JG wants to do, then to just sign up the first guy who interviews because the fans are getting restless..

I think it's league practice that all NFL activities are generally on hold until after the Superbowl. Which is why several team still have coordinator positions sitting unfilled (Eagles, Saints, Rams), much less position coaches.

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Or we may be hiring college coaches for the open positions and they want to wait to announce it until after national signing day (feb 6th) out of respect for the new coaches college so they can get their recruits to sign on the bottom line before the coach bails for a new job?
