I wonder if the Saints will adamantly deny it's possible to hit during the game while secretly raising the roof, as the Cowboys did with the board.

The SuperDome gets a pass because, well, you know, the city was hard hit last year by this really big hurricane.
And now the city has exported its best citizens all over the south and we half to encourage them to get back to New Or. . . I mean, NOLA, so they kin rebuild.
So do not blame nothing on the SuperDome or its lights or balls hitting its roof because the town needs a boost after the horrific hurricane and the diaspora of its finest citizens.

Because for 1-year after it happened we never heard the end of it. All for some backup punter (who I don't think has played a meaningful down in the NFL) in a preseason game where he was trying to hit the videoboard.

The integrity of the Dallas Sports Media can be summed up in this quote 'I've gotta be the bad guy on CBS11 and my radio job on ESPN. I don't have to be the bad guy here.' - Steve Dennis

Actually, Craig Hentrich played for 17 years.

He didn't hit the videoboard. It was AJ Trapasso.

I hope you really aren't looking for it.

Dallas is the most prominent team in terms of media coverage and they get far more than their performance would dictate.

And this is on top of the fact that the videoboard was getting ridiculous coverage without the punt hitting it. How can anyone expect they wouldn't cover it when it was like the biggest screen on the planet and was constantly front and center based on it's own impressiveness.
