Guess no one saw that one coming.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Report: Eagles talking contract with Dennis Dixon
Posted by Mike Florio on February 5, 2013, 7:35 PM EST
After successfully pretending to be Robert Griffin III and Colin Kaepernick, Dennis Dixon could now be getting to reprise the role for which he’s most famous: Dennis Dixon.
According to Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com, the Eagles are in contract talks with Dixon.
With the Eagles, Dixon would be reunited with Chip Kelly, who served as Dixon’s offensive coordinator at Oregon. And the move would put Dixon immediately in the mix for playing time, given his familiarity with Kelly’s offense.

The new coach wants his guy.
It's not unusual.
I wonder if Andy Reid will go for Nick Foles. I also hear Reid likes Alex Smith.
The new guy at Buffalo also said they will draft a QB very early.

Source: Vick’s release isn’t imminent
Posted by Mike Florio on February 5, 2013, 7:51 PM EST
I’ve reconfirmed via a source with direct knowledge of the situation that Vick won’t be released before the Thursday deadline, and that the Eagles aren’t concerned about the vesting of the $3 million guarantee.
So we’ll wait for Wednesday and Thursday to come and go without Vick being released, and I’ll hope that the next time I run into John Clayton he’ll be polite and friendly and collegial.

They're waiting for a suitor. He's likely to draw some interest and whoever picks him up gets his salary.

Not sure why they are concerned with that. Almost all his money is in base salary so they don't take a huge hit for getting rid of him. Looks like $5.2M but not positive.
His contract is the reason why I don't think he'll have any interest until he's cut. I can't imagine any team would trade for him from the numbers listed on Spotrac.
$17M is his cap hit next year. they are fooling themselves if they think someone will take their trash and all that money off their hands.
Never know though, dumber trades have happened.
