^ the original Captain America saving games before Tom B (aka Captain America II) was in diapers.

Don't get me wrong - I like Brady...because he reminds me of Roger in a number of ways.

BTW, Drew needs to join him in the HOF.

On this day in 1963, Lamar Hunt announced he was moving his AFL Texans to Kansas City.

When asked about the development, Clint Murchison allegedly said: "We flipped a coin and the winner got to leave town" (also attributed to Frank Luksa).

No idea, but intriguing question so I had to look it up. This is what I found:

Staubach's moving eulogy stood in sharp contrast to White's at this afternoon's public service at the Meyerson Symphony Center. White, who eventually became one of the most popular Cowboys of all-time, wore boots with his blue suit today as he recalled how his first training camp began with Landry beating him in the team's required mile run.

White then had dozens of Landry's former players and assistant coaches roaring with laughter when he said: "I was so intimidated by him that whenever he'd ask a question, all I could do was grab the table and say, 'Grrrrrr.' Even when I knew the answer, I couldn't get it out. I think it was a long time before he knew I could make a complete sentence."
