THAT needs to change and changing some of the things you were being sarcastic about is going to have to happen if we want to change that .500 average.

Just because we don't like some of the complaints and bullet points, just because we don't want to hear it or even agree with it...it does not mean there is not truth in it/them.
One of yor best post ever.

He'd have been better off leaving that stuff unsaid and just acknowledging the position coach changes were an attempt to get better. Let Jerry, Stephen, Callahan support his historic performance.
Thats what a confident man would have done.

Jason looks scared and is very defensive (ala Wade) in a passive-agreeisve way. That's not a man in charge of his own destiny.

Since the conclusion of the 2012 season the Cowboys have hired four new offensive position coaches.

Garrett says despite good production the last six years he’s hoping those additions will give the Cowboys a chance to “break through.”

If nothing had changed about our offense over the past six years, then maybe taking the average from that time period would be worth something.

In 2012, we were sixth in total yards (good), but 15th in points per game (not so good). We were 31st in rushing offense (terrible) and tied for 27th in rushing TDs.

Hopefully, Garrett is looking at the reasons why three of those four things were pretty bad instead of focusing on six-year aggregates and the "pretty good" stuff Dallas has done in that time period.
"'Room' always makes me chuckle. That's irrelevant. What we have on a given day really doesn't relate to what you're ultimately going to have and how you're going to manage."
