Who is the best fit at runningback to replace Felix?
So Felix is obviously going to be gone before the season starts as we all know, but who do you guys think is the best fit for our number 2 RB spot? There are many options out there in the draft and some in free agency.Just wanted to see what everyone's thoughts are on this topic.Do we want a scat back,a bruiser?Who do you guys want? For me it's Kenjon Barner from Oregon,I think he is one of the most explosive backs this draft, hits the holes, fast, everything we need.Thoughts?

I would take a flier on lattimore in the 4th or 5th. Also really like theo riddick from notre dame due to his versatility. He can split out in the slot, something he has done a lot in college. He could be a great value in the 5th or 6th.

i think we need more of a bell cow type back that could potentially carry the load if/when murray is injured

Agree totally. I think instead of looking for a #2 back we should look for a #1 back. Murray is regarded as very good because he's the best we have but I don't think he's the best out there available by far, plus his injury history. Nope we definitely need to look #1 all the way, then let them compete for the job.

Lacy won't be available to us (there should be NO circumstance where they take him in the first)...someone mentioned Lattimore. I like him a lot, but I see him going by round 3. Being a Notre Dame fanatic, I would love Riddick wearing the star, but as mentioned above, only in the 5th or 6th round - he has a lot of value there
I don't see us grabbing a RB before the 5th round unless, of course, we do some type of trade-down in the first and pick up an additional 2nd or 3rd rounder

i like Javon Ringer in FA.
Not a lot of wear on his tires, filled in well for Johnson when injured, can go the distance, good in pass pro on 3rd downs, still only 26 so he can see out a 3-4 year deal, should be relatively cheap.
Also it allows us to use the draft to fill holes on the DL and OL.
If not then go the UDFA route, rb is the easiest position to plug and play.
