I went snowboarding for the first time yesterday and it's something I am going to do as long as I can. Extremely sore today from about 30 falls during the first 4 runs.

Enjoy the outdoors.

During the offseason I completely forget about football and only focus in on the draft, FA week, etc. Football will be more enjoyable when it comes back around that way.

I fly RC helicopters. I can fly it all through the house and sometimes, even thought I'm not supposed to, I chase one of my cats around the house.

I cannot fly outside because of all the snow.

I play pickup basketball. I've never played football though. Hockey is my sport, unfortunately where I go to college has no ice rinks so I haven't been able to play in years.

edit: I guess your talking about NFL? You should watch hockey.

Distance running. Good activity if you're the contemplative sort of person because aside from the cardio benefits you can turn your brain off and listen to music and/or take in the scenery for however long you're running. Very relaxing.

My favorite hobby - watching Mustangs fall behind in the rearview mirror of my '01 C5.

Golf, sailing, twitter, NFLN and spending time on this site helps the offseason fly by for me.

Hockey. It's such a great sport and under-appreciated. The other thing I do during the off-season is grow heirloom tomatoes. I still have around 100 varieties of seeds, but got blight on mine last season, so I haven't even started any for this season. Seasons past I got plants between 8 and 14 feet high, and loved giving away the excess to everyone I could. Tomatoes are too expensive in HEB, and they are crap to boot.

Most of us have been missing football for 16 years or so............
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

God help us...............

I tape the games and watch some of them or like today I spent the day hunting Makorov and killed that sorry Sheppard with a Bowie knife to the eye socket.
Then pulled MW2 for an update and an hour or so on it.
This morning I brought my air compressor around to my garage and hooked it up to my hose reel to make it easy to keep the tire pressure right and help my gas mileage.

Yep, I am kinda missing football to. But I watch quite a bit of college FB this past year an got my fill.

I am not the kind of person to over-react when the Cowboys don't do that well, but I gotta admit I am really hoping for some post season play from the boys in the 13-14 season, more than I normally do. A 20 plus year drought is too much.
