Nice start, love A. Ellington just not liking his blocking in the backfield, I think he is a great runner.

No doubt. I think it'll be Ellington, Taylor or Ball...

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves. Shakespeare

think about it...

if our GM gets fired he will not get another job as GM
if our director of pro-personnel gets fired he will not get another job as that in the NFL
if our HC gets fired he will not get another job as HC in the NFL

ALL THESE PEOPLE ARE IN POSITION ONLY BECAUSE JERRY IS THE OWNER AND GM

and not one of them is qualified to do the job they are doing

It's hard to find any reports about Kawann Short that don't reference his questionable work-ethic.

He definitely has the talent to be picked at #47 or earlier.

Mike Mayock is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to scouting players & he says Cooper will be picked in the 10-15 range.. I was hoping he fell to us as well, but I just don't see it.

Guards tend to fall in the draft. It happens every year. Last year there was a lot of talk about DeCastro being picked before us at #14 but he went around #24 instead.

That's not a guarantee that Cooper will be there when we are on the clock but it is quite plausible.

I go think he will be the BPA if he is on the board and should be the pick even though I am not a fan of drafting OGs in the first. I like him more than Warmack but would be okay with drafting him too if he fell. I don't like Fluker.

The thing about the Alabama guys that worries me is if you put together a bunch of very good players none may be as good individually as they appear to be on the field. It is a harder to be dominant on the field when the guys around you are sub-par.

What did he say about DeCasto last year?

Wasn't DeCastro supposed to be the best guard in the past 15 years or something? Interior OL always fall for some reason.

Love the 1st two picks!

I like Ellingington too, but i think the 3rd round is a real sweet spot for finding a saftey this year. There are several RBs that can be had in the very late rounds.

Who do you like at safety?

I get the feeling with the uncertainty at the position, safety could be the one spot we address in free agency.

Mayock is pretty knowledgeable, yes.
But his predictions on when players will be taken over the years has not really been that great.

Thomas if he's there. But in the 3rd I'd even consider Swearinger
