What am I missing with the Pats???

I constantly hear that the New England players are trying to prove a point that they are not cheaters, (from the video incidents).

Am I missing something and are they, wasn't it proven that they did do something illegal according to the NFL???

So why are the Pats not admitting that their coaches were wrong.

I know they are trying to prove that they didn't have to cheat to win ,and thats another subject, But don't kill the messenger when your guilty.
