Default Halloween Trick or Treaters

Okay, I have to rant about this. Tonight, I received a lot of trick or treaters. A lot of cool costumes and nice kids. It was a good night. However, I noticed one disturbing trend. When the heck did parents start begging for candy too? Listen, Mom, dress up....take your 2 years old cindarella and 6 year old Power Ranger to my door, but don't bring a cheap plastic Wal-Mart sack and ask for candy too. I don't care if you are dressed up, it's just weird when the parent has a big sack of candy too.

I don't beg for candy... I just steal it from my kids' bags after they go to sleep!

Amateur! What you should do is tell the homeowner "Look, if you throw extra candy I'll forget to tell the HOA about your trash can being out all week"

The plan is to scare them so bad they don't question what you give them. They run out of the yard. All in fun of course!

Wow. You actually had parents trick or treating? And I thought 14-15 year olds were bad.

We gave out "goodie-bags" for the little ones this year and had bowls full of candy for the "older" ones. I actually had a kid about 14 ask for one of the goodie-bags when I reached into the bowl of candy for him. I said don't look a gift horse in the mouth and unless he wanted to play with "play-dough" and have a spider ring, take the candy.
That's why they play the game
