Dallas-Miami draft trade idea...
Both our 1st round picks coupled with Roy Williams and Bobby Carpenter.
Dolphins get four starters for one pick and dont have too pay the huge salary for one player.
If I am Miami I think the deal would be fair, due too the many needs they have.
Thoughts?

Why make the trade?
So we can draft McFadden?
What about Barber? You aren't going to drop $60 mil on the 1st overall pick so he can split carries with Barber.

Make it a three-team trade with Dexter Coakley from the Rams and you have a deal.

How about our 2 1st rounders this year and our 1st from next year? That comes to around the 3 or 4th overall pick, I think. I think we'd have to give up even more to move to number 1 overall.
Looks a bit prohibitive to me, IMO . . . .

My 2 cents.
The 2 #1's? OK.
Roy? His new contract causes you to eat a bunch of cap cash if you trade him. On top of that, he's a top 10 SS so why trade him? Jerry won't do that.
Carp? Not sure he has all that much value.

OK, someone who watches College Football please explain to me by player association . . . .
D Mac = A Peterson
Stewart/Mendalhall (sp?) = M Lynch (of the Bills) ????
Is this a fair comparion?
If so, I'm quite happy keeping our 2 1st rounders and other picks and getting a Lynch type quality player . . . .

First, two low No.1s won't get us anywhere near top 5. Otherwise, Calvin Johnson is playing for us right now. Detriot reportedly asked for Ware plus multiple No.1s for their #2 pick last draft.
Second, why do we have to have a 60M McFadden? This team should be bulit around Romo and that means we are a pass-happy tegam. MBIII plus a decent backup are more than enought for killing clocking in the fourth quarter.

wow...you are not thinking straight.
lets trade away a top 10 safety, a player that is still developing, and 2 possible players that could develop into key contribuitors...for one player
lay off the crack
