If thats the case then that would push other players with top 15 grades down lower in the draft. That could possibly allow the cowboys and others drafting in the 20-25 range to get quality Players. I follow the top pro prospects extensively. Here is my top 31 NFL Prospects by Position... Not in order of draft potential.
QB
Matt Ryan
Brian Brohm
Andre Woodson
RB
Darren Mcfadden*
Rashard Mendenhall*
Jonathon Stewart*
Felix Jones*
WR
Early Ducet
James Hardy*
DeSean Jackson*
Andre Caldwell
TE
None with 1st round grade
OL
Jake Long
Ryan Clady*
Sam Baker
Michael Oher*
DT
Glenn Dorsey
Sedrick Ellis
Chris Long
Vernon Gholston*
Calais Campbell*
Derrick Harvey*
OLB
Quentin Groves
Keith River
Xavier Adibi
Erin Henderson*
ILB
Dan Connor
CB
Malcomb Jenkins*
Antoine Cason
Mike Jenkins
Aquib Talib*
S
Kenny Phillips*
Other underclassmen likely to yield 1st round grades who have not expressed interest in entering the draft as of yet...
ILB James Laurinaitis- Will be a top 10 pick but he says he is returning to OSU
OG Duke Robinson (Oklahoma) Is the only Guard with a round 1 grade; but may stay
DT Pat Sims-Auburn He will go 1st round this year. But be will next years Glenn Dorsey if he stays!
these 3 guys are all sure top 10 picks in 2009 if they stay
If all 3 CB's are gone then Ducet may fall into the 20's none of the CB's have top 10 pick grades. So in order for three CB's to go in the 11-20 range other will slide down... Maybe Desean Jackson, Early Ducet or Rashard Mendenhall who all have top 20 grades. especially Mendenhall because RB has the shortest learning curve.
All 1st round RB's can gain 1,000 yards as rookies barring injury. look at Joseph Aidai, Adrain Peterson, Marshun Lynch and others.....

Hos if we can pull him in I will join in dancing that jig...
we really need a CB and a ILB in this draft...
I think we can pick up a RB later to compliment Barber
but who is the next Willis that is what I want to know

I agree on not going RB early. Compliment the Barberian at this point.

Scouts Inc. have Cason as the eighth best CB available.
Huddlereport have their first mock up here.
This is the best one I've seen - giving us CB Reggie Smith and RB Felix Jones.

Cason will last to the 20s if Malcom Jenkins and Aquib Talib come out. Cason isn't that physical and lacks great speed. While I think he could be the best CB in this draft (actually I think Mike Jenkins is), I don't think teams will be knocking down his door to draft him.

The COMBINE will decide which CB goes first. 40 time and the rest will do it.
Actually, there are no world beater CBs this year anyway. Have not been for a while. I was a big Justin King fan before the season- but he has NOT played well. Should stay for his senior year and prove this was just a bad year.

I remember you being real high on Willis (ILB) and he looks like he really panned out...do you have another ILB in mind that we might be able to snag with the 2nd 1st rounder or in the 2nd rnd

There isn't anyone I like as much as I liked Willis.
The guy who will get all the attention is James Laurinaitus from Ohio State. He is the son of former professional wrester Animal from the Road Warriors. He is 6'3, 244 pounds and is a devestating tackler. It is hard to say he has a weakness but here goes my best shot. He is nowhere near as fast as Willis. He's a Junior, so he would have to declare for the Draft to even be considered.
The only other LBs who are 1st round kind of guys are all OLBs. Keith Rivers of USC, Dan Connor of Penn State, and Ali Highsmith of LSU. The other ILB prospects are all way below 1st round status IMO. The only other guy who intrigues me is Jonathon Goff of Vanderbilt and that's because he's so big. I like Vince Hall of Va Tech's speed, but in coverage he is a liability.
Slim pickings at ILB on 2008. IMO.
FWIW, I checked 4 different draft sites and they all have Cason rated 20 to 25. So he could be there. The Combine will be his true scale.
My favorite LB in this Draft will be Spencer Larson from the University of Arizona. He reminds me of Zach Thomas. The scouting services do not recognize him yet, but I can tell you that he was the motor for the Wildcats Defense in 2007. Has a great nose for the football and great tackling mechanics. A steal in round 3 IMO.

Very smart player. I believe he will start in the NFL.
I am a homer, but this kid can play.
Video of him.

This is a synopsis of the Arizona upset of Oregon where Donald Dixon got hurt.
At about 1:10 you will see Antoine Cason pick off a ball and return it for a TD. Then right after this you can see him return a punt for a TD.

IMO the 2 best players for Arizona.
BTW, I love the way Jonathon Stewart runs. You'll see why.

I hate to say this but after the Combine, I think his stock will rise, he maybe gone before 15th overall pick.
Bone stock, right down to tires.
