I think this is an excellent pick. Detroit has really struggled on offense when they have RW, when they don't they have a big zero. For all the Kevin Jones man crushes he has been very weak. Last week he had 65 yards and 1 TD and that was his best week yet. Pinner has struggled as well which signals to me the OL has problems run blocking as can the be the case for the WCO teams that dont chop block every play. The Detroit DL has been solid but the backers and secondary is mediocre. If we can get EG through the initial line he should reel off a lot of 6 to 8 yard runs which will open up the deep passes for the old man. Having Randal Williams go deep early and often is a great idea against a Lions secondary that doesn't feature world class speed.

I have picked against us the last 2 weeks in the pools but I think we win this week by 2 TDs.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.
