Default Could Favre save us????

Lets play what if.....we start off year 7-2, Romo goes down, everything pointing to a SB run on the NFC. Now we are faced with playing BJ, due we place a call to Mississippi for a guy named Brett??? After hearing of his retirement and people debating if that was really it, I thought about that Kosar deal of the past.... Could Favre be called upon come to be the guy who could lead us if that happened??? Hmmmm...

Just a thought of what if????

I say we bring in Jason Garrett if something happens to Romo.

I'm sure he'll be on the Packer's reserved/retired list, so if he wanted to come back they'd have to release his rights, and that would make him have to go through waivers.

He belongs to the Packers. Retirement doesn't eliminate that contractural bond. Are you suggesting we trade for a player who may never play again? If so, why?

Even if the Packers release him from their roster, believing that he's honestly done, I doubt we'd make a call in such a situation.

Favre to the Cowboys is just so wrong in a Top 10 list kind of way.

Star Even if it could happen..

...what would we ever pay him..?

Season tickets to future Cowboy games in the new stadium..?

Because that's just about all we could afford right now.

Any deal he would want would be a cap breaker.

Man, this is going to be a looooonnnngggg off season with every player who get's in the headlines as being cut, demoted, retired or complaining they don't like their contract, being associated with coming here.

I don't remember any of this when Aikman retired. When it's time, it's time.

Farve, it's time.

You lost to us in our big game and your lost in the Championship game when you had more going for you than we did ourselves.

I think it's time to hang it up.

He would only be useful for road games anyway. Everyone knows Favre can't win in Texas Stadium.
