***The Official CZ Mock Draft - Teams Announced!***
***2008 Cowboyszone.com Mock Draft***
Saturday, April 19th (12 PM EST/9 AM PST)
Hey guys!
Well, teams have been randomly assigned by a highly technological process called putting names and teams into a baseball helmet and pulling them out one by one. This was done by pulling a username out of one helmet and then a team(s) out of a seperate helmet. Stop me if I'm losing you here.
The order below is the exact order in which they were drawn so you will have to look through them to find your name. If you find the Excel images fuzzy, crappy and a general distaste of them, we'll simply go to text only when we have updates. I also apologize for the black text on red background being sub-standard.
Note that this does not include compensatory picks which will be announced in the coming days.
Here are your team:
Here's the selection order:
And finally, here's the picks by teams:
Good luck!

Don't worry, I've got two chances to make sure no RB's are there for him to draft in the first round. I would just like it to be known that both the Chargers and Texans have shown a lot of interest in Chris Johnson, and have brought him in for workouts.
How come some of us ended up with two teams btw, we didn't have enough draft nerds?
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Sorry, there will be no revote for Dallas. Lawmakers at my house (my wife) are simply too packed with setting up our baby's room and had spaghetti on the stove. She also asked 'Who the crap is Bob Sacamono?' (sig worthy, I think).
It's high pressure to make good selections, Bob. If you can't handle it, let me know and I'll take them off your shoulders.
As far as the multiple teams, this was due to certain teams not having many picks. For instance, the Raiders only have the #4 pick which wouldn't be very fun to make one selection. As such, I lobbed Indy with them to give them more picks. Same thing occurred with Houston and San Diego who only have a combined three picks. I also gave Cleveland (no picks) with a team that only has two picks (Denver). The other options were the Jets and Ravens, but Denver picks lower.

Looks like I got Detroit this year.
Well, lets all raise our glasses to the Lions. Please, somebody go wake up Millen and let him know that he will be drafting 5 WRs again this year.

Ah of course, no sweat, should be a blast.
And yes, someone please urge Bob to draft logically and not with his bias, otherwise I'm seriously going to just take CJ off the board. You're drafting for this whole board!

We are susposed to do what we think a team should do or would do?
Some people would trade everything for the next three yrs for the number 1 overall and others would only be happy with 24 7th round picks.
Lets hope everyone tries to keep some semblance of realism.

Well, I believe that I've already pointed out that I intend to draft 5 WRs in the first three rounds. How much more realistic can I be?

If anyone with two teams wants to give one of them to me that would be fantastic.

Gandhi, unless we end up with 100% turnout and everyone shows up (not bloody likely), we'd love to have you join.
If someone drops out, I'll let you know. In any event, stop by the draft room on the day of the mock and we'll be sure to get you involved.
