USA Vacation
Yeah! Finally the day has come
Tomorrow early morning we (me and my girl Antonella) gonna leave from Rome to San Francisco (via Paris) for a long awaited 18 days vacation.
We are extremely excited for this and I'm sure we'll enjoy so much.
Of course I'll find the time to make a big football shopping , almost about Cowboys but even something about College football...can you suggest me the most funny and popular College (with a fine merchandise ).
Besides I'll breathe the Draft experience almost "live" , I know that is something like an event for you.
Ok, God bless America my friends, we are coming and we are really happy

Notre Dame has a nationwide following...
Some of the other major college football schools currently having recent success with national appeal are LSU, Texas, USC, Oklahoma and Florida...

I gave you these before, but as a reminder...
Great Restaurants... In San Francisco I highly recommend House of Nanking on Kearney, Tadich Grill on California and The Stinking Rose on Columbus...

You are going to love Frisco. Try and get to Carmel just north of there if you can. Talk about a beautiful place.

and obviously go to Pier 39 and take the ferry to Sausalito (it goes right by Alcatraz)...
There's a great little bar in Sausalito called "No-Name Bar"... Clint Eastwood and Neal Schon used to go there from time to time...

And then…we are back
To say the truth it’s almost two weeks and now we have back to normal life and even the last jet-leg effects disappeared…but we still have in mind everything about our trip
We had lots of wonderful exciting experiences and visited places that take the breath away. I’d like to list some things that cought me: - Extreme friendliness and kindness of American people. How many guys (above all in SF and in the Southwest) stopped what they were doing seeing us with a map and said: “Can I help you?” even if we didn’t ask anything…Great and not so easy to find elsewhere.
- Infinites spaces with 360° landscape, but in general, everything is bigger and more if compared to us
: landscapes, streets, buildings, cars, trucks…to not mention the deserts, the canyons and so on - The several “clochard” in SF…everywhere and someones a little bit ‘crazy’…but we hadn’t any kind of problems. It seem that they are a ‘feature’ of SF too…
 - The Love and Respect that American people feel for their land, for their natural beauty
- The astounding American Patriotism!!! A great feeling that you can breathe everywhere even from a simple small flag on a car
- Hundreds of mile of great Nevada-Utah-Arizona highways just in the middle of…nothing (or ‘all’…it depends on the point of view
) Astonishing - The Bryce canyon and Colorado River (above all)
- The coyote in Sequoia Park (and all the other wildlife we met
) - T-Bone Steaks
 - Last…but absolutely not least…American way of life
We like to thanx those great crazy American guys we met in Antelope point at Lake Powell…they invited us in their boat where they were living a seven days fishing vacation. Well, they were great and welcomed us as old friends and then we made a small trip in the lake up to the Glen Canyon Dam and back...great, one of the funniest days of our trip! We met them again casually the day after in Cameron Trading post in the road to Grand Canyon… well, Thanx Marty, Frank, Joan…and the others (we don’t remember all the names)…even if you are Cardinals fans
I put some pics in this thread, have fun and thanks to you all http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showth...=118848&page=2

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip, and especially glad to hear you were treated so well by so many. I look forward to visiting your homeland some day and enjoying the many wonders there.

All I can say is come back when you can stay longer. I normally say that to sales reps and I don't really mean it, but I do in this case. Oh, and plan a trip to Texas next time. It's whole 'nother country. Come to Arlington and I'll take you to the new Cowboys Stadium.
