Roy Williams says "whatever they want me to do"

You guys are pretty funny. You think Roy can't help this team. I hear you say he's terrible in the pass game, but I don't here you went he makes an interception. I hear you when he misses one play, but you I don't hear you when he made the 10 before. I saw you writing the other day about how he doesn't have the fire to say "I want to start every play or else".

What you bashers forget is that Roy can help this team. Roy can be a centerpiece in this defense if we use his special skills and help him out where he's needs it. I'm not arguing he's the best in deep coverage. But he's been with this team for a long time and we've seen what he can do around the line.

If you don't think that can help us this year, against the run and pass, then you're not worthy of your bumbling babble in the first place. We'll leave that up to the likes of John Madden and Phil Simms.

Similar logic would reflect that those of you pulling for Henry at safety want him to cling to CB and not give safety a good effort, for the team, when he's asked by the coaches to do so.

I'm pulling for Williams this year, and I'm a Longhorn fan. The rest of you guys have fun wallowing in senseless distaste for a guy who is going to help this team out a lot. If he's done nothing else, he's always given 100% effort on every play. I just don't get how some go off about Roy when a lot of teams would love to have him.
