We’ll for one thing, Parcells was right. Winning these last 2 games (Detroit and Cincinnati) was going to be crucial to the Cowboy’s season, he just did know how crucial. With the Eagles and the Giants both losing today it could have breathe more life into the Cowboys season than anyone could have imagined. Team morale would have been soaring, not to mention getting back some key injured players for the crucial push in the upcoming games. Being 3 games behind the Eagles with yet to play them twice, and being 2 games behind the Giants and getting another crack at them could have been huge. This could have been a huge boost for the Cowboys, especially having to play 3 games in an 11-day period starting next Monday. Timing is everything, today was the day to let it all hang out, but the flavor of the day was plain vanilla for some reason.
Would have been, could have been, should have been… this was a loss was a bigger implication than most realized I think.
