Default #9 pick

Here's how I think it pans out:

1)LT
2)AP
3)SJackson
4)BWestbrook
5)JAddai
6)FGore
7)TBrady (I know, the guy said he's picking Brady here already)
8)MBarber
9)??? I want Barber here but I'm thinking

Portis or LJ? Thoughts? Don't want Lynch or Grant here. RBs are the key to my success. Not going to get R Moss since there are so many good receivers later on. I plan on going 1)RB, 2)RB, 3)RB 4)WR....

You have Gore going earlier than I'd take him. I like Portis over LJ.

1 LaDainian Tomlinson
2 Adrian Peterson
3 Brian Westbrook
4 Steven Jackson
5 Joseph Addai
6 Clinton Portis
7 Larry Johnson
8 Marion Barber
9 Frank Gore
10 Marshawn Lynch
11 Ryan Grant
12 Willis McGahee
13 Willie Parker
Answer for this off-season: Assemble an elite offense.

Zero,

If Gore dropped to me at 9 I would be happy. I'm basing the ranking off of yahoo. Over the years, I trust their rankings the most. I was looking at all the other sites (espn, nfl, cbssportsline, etc) and they have Gore up there. They have LJ and Portis jumping back and forth.

LJ has a bad OLine but a new system (Chan Gailey), but was injured last year. Portis is pretty consistent. Gore jumps way up b/c of the new system. I'm staying away from McGahee and Grant. Willie has Mendenhall behind him (might take away his TDs).

Of the three (Portis, Johnson, and Gore), I'd go with Portis mainly because he is more likely to be consistent. I think there is a lower chance that he is a bust ... a 1st round bust is tough to absorb.

But there is no way to tell (and that's why it's fun).
