Ipod help
OK, My daughters friend has an Ipod and my daughter has an Ipod. My daughter wants to transfer a song that is on our PC to her friends Ipod. I have transfered it and it shows up in her files when the friends Ipod is plugged in, but when it's unplugged, it's not in the playlist of songs.
So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

did you drag the song to the library on her itunes?
apple.com has a forum I believe for ipods. Hope they can help. If not, google ipod forums and you'll probably find someone that can answer that problem.

How did you transfer the music?
Through iTunes or by dragging it onto the iPod icon?
With it connected to your machine, open iTunes and add the songs to her iPod Music library.

I didn't use Itunes at all. I opened the file folder and then dragged then there and dropped them. The file shows they are there but they won't find them on the ipod.

You should use ITunes.
Open iTunes.
Import the file(song) into the music library of iTunes. Thats the upper half of the window.
Plug in her iPod and drag from the top half of the screen down to the mid to lower left of screen where her ipod is showing.
THAT is the best way.
