Sadly, most of those dates are from a few years ago...when I too liked McCain. When he really was a Maverick IMO.

That McCain and this McCain does not seem to be the same...If he wins, I hope he returns to that McCain/Maverick instead of the current one bowing down to bush and his base.

I guess that is where we differ, I think McCain does speak his mind and will stand up for things he believes in popular or not within the party. When he looked dead in the waters in the primaries he continued with his backing of the war when it would have been easy to play the anti-war card. Because has agreed with Bush on some issues does not make him Bush nor does it mean he has abandoned his believes.
