trick plays tonight?
ok, do you think andy reid tries to catch us with ANOTHER surprise on-side kick at some point tonight?
also, i fully expect, especially if the iggles have the ball first, that their first play is going DEEP to try and get to T.O. or draw pass interference.
it's their M.O......especially against us. they try and cut our hearts out right away.
i hope B.P is prepared!
thoughts?

You can count on it. The Eagles are not going to respect the Cowboys. They will go for the long pass or some kind of trick very early in the game. Maybe after last year, Reid will be a little gun-shy about the unexpected onside kick, but you never know. I do strongly suspect that they, as a team, think they are much better than Dallas.

I think BP is prepared. The problem is that some very inexperienced CBs are actually on the field. That being said, I'm still feeling hopeful. Don't know why--just have a feeling. (Now, that feeling may need to be addressed with some pharmaceuticals--we'll know in a few hours!)

I'm cautiously optimistic as well. Don't want to get my hopes up but hopefully the 'Boys can find some way to pull this one out. Maybe Witten can end up with 10 catches for 150 yards and 2 TDs

I'm thinking we may have a fake FG in this one. Parcells throws the "layman" a bone, by letting us see Drew throw a TD.

I'm hoping to see McNabb roll out on a bootleg . . .
Roy screeches in on a blitz . . .
Westbrook tries to block Roy by going low . . .
Roy leaps over Westbrook, flies five yards in mid-air . . .
Catches McNabb and horsecollars him around his shoulderpads . . .
McNabb tries to fight off Roy and plants his foot . . .
His leg snaps in two places from the weight of his collapsing body at the hands of Roy Williams.
And if he were to fumble the ball in all his pain . . . that'd be a plus.
I'd like to see that early in the first quarter.

I hope we run trick plays. We need a couple well executed flea flickers, maybe a WR option too.

This sounds right to me.
Philly, or should I say Andy, always seems to have a trick play however like you I doubt it will be another onside Kick.
And if the Eagles feel they are better then dallas...well would we blame them, the record says they are at this point.
I am hoping they feel that way, but at the same time do not respect the cowboys and play a sloppy game.
We have to bring our A game and they have to bring their C or D game IMO for us to have a chance to win.
We will need their help (them making mistakes) and we have to take advantage of those mistakes.

How about we be the ones with the trick plays for one?
I got one: Newman is a blocker on the punt team... How about a reverse to him?
Or how about a lateral to Crayton and then a pass?
Or, even better, although it's not exactly a trick play: I've been waiting forever for us to block a punt. When's the last time we did that other than Markus Steele's swat Thanksgiving 2002 when the Skins punter bobbled the ball for 10 seconds? Tonight would be nice.
