Obama is extremely liberal, his ideas are socialistic and will do more harm then good. While a lot of what he has to say is nice the burden of proof has yet to be proven on how this gov't can afford to what he deems "important" without raising taxes on everyone one. He thinks his economic plan will rescue the economy, it will drive it into a depression, we will experience outsourcing at all new levels when corporations move their HQ overseas to corporate tax friendly countries. His plan also makes things like 401Ks and other retirement plans impotent with the increase in the dividend tax, even your home if you make it to the end of 30yr mortgage will get taxed if you sell it to move to a lower cost of living area. All of his plans effect the middle class negatively long term while making it rosy short-term. Oh having the backing of every hollywood elite in the world doiesn't help either, anyone that gets backed by Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand deserves to loose.

I am not a McCain guy or an Obama guy, my candidate lost during the primaries. However, I will give my .02 on why every poll on the planet shows Obama is ahead.

Exactly what does that mean? I actually believe McCain to be more liberal than most republicans on domestic things.

McCain used to be a bit more socially liberal than most conservatives, but he's moved to the right to tie up his base. Plus, when he chose Sarah Palin, my last glimmer of hope on that front went right out the window.

I also don't believe he has the right temperament to be president. He tends to flail about wildly in his "mavericky-ness". His campaign and him have been all OVER the place.

I argue that if you aren't sure at this point. Then you should vote 3rd party.

I don't really like either guy. If I were FORCED to vote between McCain or Obama, I think the choice would be easy. But, for a guy like me in a state where you know who's going to win. I'd rather have my vote on record as "Neither" to show potential Indy's and 3rd Parties that maybe its time to must into the mainstream.

I'm ready for a Congress that has MANY folks who aren't part of either party. Who actually represent where they are from. Not their party interests.

Wow, I couldn't agree with you more. What really upsets me is that both parties could have put up much better canidates. I never understood why a moderate like Harold Ford, Jr. never got the nod over someone like Obama who has no experience.

I don't understand why true conservatives don't pick this up. I was really upset with McCain, Romney, and Guilani running for the Republican ticket as I see all three as RHINOS.

Thats kinda how I feel.

I wanted Ron Paul to get a shot at it but he never had a real chance.

The Media basically pushed McCain, Hillary, and Obama on us.

Americans really don't even have a choice. We just get what they make available.

With McCain I think we're screwed. But with Obama we could be ok short term but there is no telling what could happen down the road.

And what if Obama is some mastermind terrorist?
