Default The Crayton vs. Roy Williams thread

Patrick Crayton 16-207 1 TD
Roy Williams 15-209 1TD

And with TO/Witten/MB3/Felix cat those trends will not change.....

Look at who's throwing Williams the ball, in Dallas I guarantee he'd see the ball much more...

Kitna other than last game or two was putting up numbers.

Roy needs to stop dropping the ball too - word is 5 drops last game and that is not a new trend.

Back to stats - Crayton is same production.

Agreed. I dont know how much production any guy we could get would add.

More Fear for the opposing teams defense for sure. But when you have all the guys we have I dont think it would add a whole lot more from a production standpoint.

TO's still going to get doubled teams, Wittens still going to get single coverage, Barber will still be an open target out of the backfield.

He's not. Seen this act for years.

He also isn't taking into account Detroit has already had their bye week.

To use stats for your argument is silly as well. By your logic, there are 12 RB's better than LT too.

Yes, there are probably 15-20 backs better than a pretty injured LT. Stats back that up too -

So you believe Julius Jones is better than LT? OK, I'm done with this thread.

im going to have to agree with the op

but the argument can go both ways. He was the #1 target in a pass happy scheme for a few years. here, he would have to give away touches to TO witten, barber, felix , and crayton will still be in there somewhere since we gave him a new contract for whatever reason

he would post better numbers than crayton but not by much just because of who we have

in terms of talent and looking forward he is WAYYY more talented than any receiver we have besides owens. and could eventually replace owens here in the next year or so
