Taking a peek in the Raven's Messageboad
From time to time, I like to find the messageboards of the teams we are playing against next.
Thought it would be cool to see what the Ravens Fans were saying about our matchup this weekend. It is pretty cool to see how much respect they have for Jason Witten.
Here are some of the comments they are saying in a thread entitled " Ravens secondary might be in trouble on Sunday... "...
Quote:
Then I guess Fuller, Walls and Scott had better step up then. They did great in the second half last Sunday.
Baxter is likely to be put on Keyshawn, and aside from him the WR corp of the Cowboys doesn't worry me too much. The main coverage is going to have to be on Witten, who could probably do more damage to us than the rest of their WR combined. I can see us putting plenty of blitzes on Vinny this weekend.

I'm not too worried about the Cowboys wide receivers. It is Jason Witten, their TE, that we should be worrying about.

Walls scares the sh*t out of me.
Seeing what Witten did last Monday scares me. He's essentially a WR playing TE. Kinda like Heap.
I still think that there is a chance that CMac will be active, for emergencies if nothing else.
Ogden better be close to 100% and Jamal had better have a Jamal-like game to keep our D off the field, because I think Dallas will score some points. This shutout talk is ridiculous.

This game will NOT be easy. I really don't think some people understand the parity in this league. People are talking shutout (why?) when we have our issues defending the pass. Not to mention the last time Eddie George played us we got punked. We need to score points and win with offense this week.

I gotta say, those guys seem to be pretty knowledgable. I have a feeling it's gonna be anybody's game going into the 4th quarter. But they're right, they have to win this game with their offense, and they likely will. I already called it in the predictions thread, Kyle Boller will have his best game as a pro against us.

I was surprised when Boller stepped up last week and started looking like an actual quarterback. Can he do that two weeks in a row?
Combine that with the threat of J-Lew pounding our small defense in the running game and things don't look to good for our defense, IMO.
But as long as our offense protects the ball, the Cowboys should be able to stay in the game. Just don't let the Ravens defense make things miserable by creating turnovers and scoring opportunities for themselves or their offense.

Good to see the Raven fans giving Jason Witten his propers. Gonna have to agree with Rack. Kyle Boller will probably have a stellar day. The best day of his career actually. We always seem to jump start the nobody's careers.
As stingy as the Ravens defense is, and as smart as they are, they will take our main threat (Jason Witten) out of the game. Then the massacre will ensue. Cowboys will probably only score 10 points, if that. Ravens 28 - Cowboys 7.

Eddie is not putting the fear into anyone. Oh well. This season is pretty much a wash anyways.

Oh please, nobody is fearing Eddie and Raven fans are not afraid of this Cowboy offense. Lord help us, now we are looking to crow fans to feel good about our players.

Do those guys ever discuss the chances of Baxter making it to free agency? JJT mentioned him as a possibility here earlier this week. There were also reports that Jones orginally offered Bryant for him.

No, he's still out with an injury.
Ogdena nd McAlister are also going to miss the game.
We need to harrass Boller into mistakes. Problem is we have our defense to try and do it with.

He will make some, we just have to come up with the ball (no dropped INT's or missed fumble recoveries. Our offense HAS to protect the ball, the Ravens make a living off of turnovers caused by their defense.
