Obama/Biden ban another station

Poor Biden thought he was going to get softball questions about the Phillies and the last debate.

If they win they'll be controlling the media like the communists.

After the Fairness Doctrine, narrowly targeted at talk radio and the internet (yep. betcha didn't know that internet bit was circulating in Congress!), comes FCC license revocations for any others who "step out of line". That and the IRS auditing and/or investigating sponsors...how many, one or two, would it take before it scared all business off from sponsoring anything that might tick off Big Brother?

It won't be long until we'll be told how many children we can have, what books we can read, can only watch government controlled tv stations.. ie MSNBC or CNN and go in for gps implants

if they lied about what they were going to ask him, then i can see where "ambush" is appropriate, but he sure didn't handle it very well.

and in the end, they're quick to "hush" people up if they don't play their way.

isn't that trying to stop "freedom of speech"? i don't want anyone to answer that but think about it in a generic sense, not a defensive or offensive one.

I haven't found anything yet to dispute this claim. If it's true Biden's just given a serious black eye to a what looked like a slamdunk end to the Dem Prez campaign from where I sit.

The only problem is - I've seen a whole lotta Rightwing claims blown right outta the water under the light of closer scrutiny.

But I WILL be following this story closely over the next few days... thanks for the heads-up.

It gets worse if you start adding them up:

Two requests to the Justice Dept to file criminal charges against the guy who ran the "Obama and Ayers" ad. A request to the Justice Dept to pursue civil rights action against any who speak ill of ACORN. And the organization of a legal "posse" in MO to pursue criminal charges against anybody running an ad the Obama campaign found to be misleading. This last one they backed off of, and started "restating their position" especially after the governer slammed them for engaging in "police state tactics" as he put it. Now just think...if Bush had been so inclined...how many Autzwitz's would we have had to build to house all the "BUSH LIED PEOPLE DIED!" crowd? And I'd suspect you'd probably be among them. And as much as I disagree with you politically on many issues, I find that prospect chilling to the core. You may go today while "my guy" is in office. What if "your guy" wins tomorrow?

Apparently this story broke 10/15/2008 and was such a political "hot button" that other pol's make virtually no mention of it. Which leads me to believe it's not a singularly uncommon practice among politicians to throw work the way of their family members. And apparently not a legal issue provided the family members are paid for actual work done.

Joe's sis has apparently been working on his campaigns for about three decades... or longer.

Joe's son, R. Hunter Biden, is a bit more problematic... paid by (name corporate concern here - Big Pharm, credit card industry, etc.) to lobby... err... his dad, Joe Biden?


Joe McCain recently resigned from brother John's campaign subsequent to a heated 911 call... I can't find any reference to what Joe drew - but it would hafta be less than Palin's makeup artist (no relation to the candidate).
