Default Redskins fans excuses for loss to Steelers

1) We've gone 14 weeks without a bye.
2) Our team is tired.
3) ARE can't return punts.
4) Election year jinx.
5) We were thinnking about our bye week plans.
6) Jason Taylor and Springs were hurt.
7) Cheerleaders only distracted Big Ben, not Leftwich.

These are actually a few of the excuses I'm seeing over at ExtremeSuck. Leave it the their village idiot (TR1) to blame it on the injuries, even saying that Samuels was hurt and that Moss shouldn't have played. PLEASE!

What we saw was exactly what they are. They've won all their games by less than 8 points and they've done so without turning the ball over. JC and that offensive line have been playing WAY above their heads and their play will come back to Earth. If they get behind like they did tonight, they can't win. They rely on Portis and he can't win it for them if their losing. JC simply manages the game and that's all he is right now.

They only thing I didn't like about tonight was having to root for the Stealers.

I think the problem the redskins are going to run into down the road is that this offense can not handle high pressure defenses. It showed in the Giants game, and it showed against Pittsburgh.

Unless we figure out a way to get the ball out quicker, or get better blocking schemes up front on blitzes, this team is not going to push forward.

No excuses from me.
They got punched in the mouth and played poorly at every turn after the first half.

I think the Skins problem is if the running game is contained (doesn't have to be shut down either), then Campbell will struggle.....unless the opposing team is selling out hard against the run. Campbell had a great game against the Lions a week ago, but the only chance the Lions had was to sell out as hard as they could against the run. As long as Campbell got serviceable pass protection, most QB's would've had a field day against the Lions defense.

The Rams contained Portis for 3 quarters and for the most part, Campbell was unimpressive. The Giants shut Portis down and Campbell looked like a joke. And last night the Steelers contained Campbell and he had another poor night.

It's not to say that I think Campbell is a bad QB. I think most QB's need at least one of three things to get going for them to excel. Some QB's need a running game to excel. Some need good pass protection to excel. Some need WR's to do a good job of getting open to excel. I believe Campbell needs to get the running game going to excel. I believe Romo needs his WR's to get open to excel. It's probably going to be parts of the game that will define both Quarterbacks' careers.

I have only read some of TR1's post, mainly just because I feel like I lose about half my brain cells just trying to figure out what hes trying to say, but from what I have read TR1 is the biggest hypocrite to say it was on injuries. Hes always talking trash about Cowboy fans using that excuse.

Seriously Redskin fans, aren't you embarrassed to have a guy like TR1 and Bubba represent your fan base?

Sounds kind of like what we've been saying the past few weeks getting our broken against the Hams and Gnats:
  • Romo and the boo boo on his pinky.
  • Witten's collapsed lung.
  • Pacman makin' it rain.
  • Terrance Gimp Newman.
I could go on, but i just find the irony a bit

No excuses here today

Pittsbrugh just flat out came into our house and whipped us physically, and clearly outcoached us

Yea if Rogers holds on to the ball and scores it could be a different game, but he didn't.

Pittsburgh's D was dominant and ball hawking, and Zorn had no answers for it

Rookie coach against an elite defense, it happens. Time to move on

What is with the TR1 and Bubba obsession here?

I have never seen a message board (this one) as obsessed with fans of another team, as opposed to the team itself

That was just a good old fashioned, wood shed, beating the Steelers put on the Skins last night.

They came in and did what they were supposed to and simply took the game from the Skins.

That's the kind of thing Dallas MUST do in two weeks.

No obsession here. I just stated one of his comments about the game last night. To me, he's one of the biggest idiots I've ever seen. Plus, I don't think he's a Redskin fan. He's more worried about what's going on with the Cowboys than he is his own team. To me, that's not a fan.

Oh please you have got to be kidding, I rarely see a post about these guys in here and I sure know there are a few Skins threads here, mainly only during Skins/Cowboys week. I Bet you I could go to ES and find more threads about the Cowboys than you would find here or any Cowboys message board about the Skins

Edit: In fact theres 11 threads about the Cowboys just on the first page of ATN, mainly from TR1 and Bubba who I suspect are paid employees for the Skins

As I said in my other post I think those 2 are paid employees of the Skins. No fan is that obsessed with another team unless there paid to be to hype up an agenda with there fans

If I am ever bored enough, I'll do a search here and see how many times their names come up. It is absurd how many times ES, TR1 and Bubba are mentioend here. I honestly have no clue why you would even bring up what fans say and name them by name. How about you talk about the boogeyman known as Art also? It is small minded and pathetic.

LOL. Bubba lives in Ronoake and has been posting since 2002. He is no paid employee

TR1 I have no clue about

My point being, you are posting about FANS, not the damn TEAM. Of course Redskins fans will talk about the Cowboys and how embarrasing they have been this year

But you won't see a post that says "that thewireman on CZ is the biggest idiot in the world. Cowboy fans, how do you feel about him representing you?"
