Default Joe the Plumber: McCain 'appalled me'

Andy Barr – Tue Dec 9, 5:22 pm ET

Joe Wurzelbacher lashed out Tuesday at former GOP presidential nominee John McCain, the man who made Wurzelbacher famous as “Joe the Plumber.”

Wurzelbacher told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt “dirty” after “being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place.”

Recalling a conversation he had with McCain about the $700 billion financial industry bailout in September, Wurzelbacher said: “When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen.”

“I asked him some pretty direct questions,” he continued. “Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”

Asked why he didn’t leave McCain’s campaign if he was “appalled” by the candidate, Wurzelbacher said, “honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more.”

While Wurzelbacher was critical of McCain during the interview, he had nothing but praise for his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. “Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.

As was the case with many people who voted for the GOP ticket.

Indeed, for conservatives the vote was not propelled by the greatness or zeal of McCain but the sleazy Chicago background of Obama.

Joe and Palin seem to deserve each other, both seem like attention seeking nippleheads.

Really? Neither of them ASKED for the spotlight. They were asked to join. Palin out of a sense of service to her country and Joe, because he had the sack to ask Obama about his socialist views.

But call it what you want. How much of Palin have seen since the election?

You people amaze me sometimes.

They seeked it after the fact though haven't they? I mean she could have said no to be his VP candidate but she did not and he could have left it at the questions with Obama but he has not. He was on the campaign trail, started a web site, talked about writing a book and has done multiple interviews.

Now I don't know what you are talking about not seeing her since the election. She too has given MULTIPLE interviews was stumping for Chamblis and it was so bad that the paper in the city capital of her state said she had not stepped into the capital building ONE TIME since the election was over.
So I am not sure what you are talking about.

It's ok...they can seek all the attention they want, but at the same time I can think they are nipple heads and see them seeking such attention.

But don't try to sit there and act like they have not...the only people that should amaze you is you for trying to pass it off like she has not been seen since the election.

So now stumping for someone is seeking attention? Granting interview requests is responding to someone asking YOU for the interview.

And yet they are seeking attention.

Makes perfect sense. As much as anything else that has come out of this election.

What are you talking about...you have not seen her since the election.

And you are darn right she is seeking attention and we all know why so quit trying to act coy.
