wow, I'm frustrated with the ridiculous socialist ideas being imposed, but now I am concerned for the very fabric of our country, and our republic.

Both of these states have hit the nail right on the head. The federal government has been over stepping its boundaries for years and years. They force states to follow their lead or lose funding, its about time someone stood up to the bullies.

These didn't start in response to the stimulus. The federal government was overstepping it's bounds for a while now. I remember Oklahoma declaring sovereignty towards the middle of last year.

It's not a declaration of secession, just sovereignty. It's states saying to the federal government, "who said you could play with that? those are my toys". It's just a reminder to the feds.

BTW, 9 states have passed resolutions, not just two. Washington, New Hampshire, Montana, Oklahoma, Arizona, Hawaii, and the rest I can't recall atm.

I have an idea, Sbark. Maybe you should start 50 of these threads, you know, one for every state. Get in there and make sure that EVERY possible angle about the stimulus bill is covered right here in the PZ. Who knows, if you start enough threads this week, you just might get Obama's attention.

zrin - he KNOWS he's being openly hypocrital. he's intentionally putting that target on his back. he dangles the bait and giggles when taken. i've taken it a few times myself but i'm trying to NOT do that anymore.

sure it would be theraputic at times to scream IDIOT at him - but he doesn't care. it won't matter. he'll do it again and hope you yell louder so he can cry to the mods and get flack for that.
