Chris Canty on T.O.
http://www.wfan.com/topic/play_windo...udioId=3553176
"The whole situation is completely overblown. T.O. was nothing but a great teammate in Dallas. He was a great person for the team, he was a great person for the organization, and he was a great person in the community. So when I first heard about the move, it was a little surprising to me. It’s just one of those things, the Cowboys decided to move on.
I tell you what, it would be nice to see him in the Giants colors as well. He’s an explosive receiver and there’s not too many players like him in the game.
I guess there’s a lot of outside pressure, a lot of people that are not in our locker room, that are suggesting that he is a problem, and that’s just not true. When you’re in the locker room, you kind of know a little bit more about the dynamics than anybody else. T.O. was a good teammate."
Yet another defensive player defending T.O. and saying he's a great teammate. Man, this is the most cohesive this unit has been in years. If they defended opponents as well as they defend Terrell Owens, they'd be the best unit in football.

The Media was the problem? Unbelievable. Hey Rush, let the blame fall where it belongs. Squarely on Terrell Owens shoulders. Do you really think Jerry Jones cut T.O. , who is the most productive reciever over a 3 year period in Cowboys history, because of crap the media made up? Get a clue.

Here is what I think about his statement on T.O., his new found team mates will look at this and think Canty is all about team and likely will never throw any of them under the bus and will have their back when things don't look so good. Canty scores big on all fronts with his G-menmates whether he is being honest or not, without ever putting on a G-men suit. I beleive if he stated T.O was problematic then his new lil' friends might think he's a tattle tail. We all know how how that crap can be. It was T.O , after all, who alerted ANYONE who would listen about snitches and rats and verman who don't tell the truth. Heck he schooled us all and graciously gave ED Werder a full scholarship to **** University on the subject, all the while using his vast knowledge on snitches to point out everyone's ignorance that Witten could be a snitch dressed in a pillar of the community suit. I may be stretching a little about Witten, but let's be clear, not once did we hear T.O tell ANYBODY, that the notion Witten could possibly be a snitch was ludicrous. Yep you better believe all you hear about T.O. the magnifico. for real. I loved the guy when his feet were on turf, but would take Witten over T.O. any day of the week to be sure. I get to watch all the Drama I want with my family during the week on television. The only drama I want in my favorite sport is played out on the field with match-ups , competition, gameplans and strategies, half time adjustments and important stuff, like, football. I could care less about alleged snitches , secretly drawn up plays, accidental over doses, how players sexual preferences relate to the look, the smell and even the walk of a rat. I can now watch my favorite team do the 2 things that are important 2 me, win or lose. It's simple and is the essence of football. Ted Turner is who I turn to if I want drama. T.O. should give T.T. a call. Oh Ted would probably give him a lucritive T.V. deal , his network could flourish even more providing drama to the masses.
Some of you will die, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

There are players saying he was a great teammate and players saying he wasn't. Even they are split.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.
I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

If only he was still on the team, his opinion would have mattered.

Everyone saying he was great. Haven't heard 1 guy come out and say anything negative. Some guys like Romo haven't said anything and maybe those are the guys who would say otherwise but since Mom says "otherwise" they won't say "otherwise".

Really?
Ratliff: “I sure hope not, we all—those of us left most move forward regardless of what we think of this decision, and figure out a way to come together and be a team,” Ratliff continued, “no matter how talented we are, if there’s no chemistry or trust within that locker room, it affects us on the field, we must be one, as I told you earlier this week, we must find a way to all become one.”
Are they saying he was trash? No. But when you see statements like this I can't imagine any one else on the team they could be speaking of.
Barber has said the same thing, and so have others. Who are they talking about? It's over, he's gone.

Yup. People pick and choose what they want to hear. Even those that say owens was a great guy finish by saying they need to become a team of one.
It's obvious who they are talking about, it still gets dismissed.
Not every one liked him, not every one hated him.
