Default Has Obama even been asked about the tea parties?

By any of the media about the tea parties ? 100's of thousand American citizens protested something the feel strongly on and I would be shocked if he hasn't commented on it.

Does he care about Americans ? Can someone find a link ?

If he hasn't, then he's gone by the next term and is a lame duck.
Be excellent to each other....

According to his press secretary, he was "Unaware" of it.

Well, this just shows he does not represent Americans, just his ideology. Very dangerous, he will not last after this term. Ignores the people.

He always seems to be unaware of a lot of things and people he associates, perhaps he needs to be more observant.

69 million Americans voted for Obama and like what he is doing. I dont think 69 milllion Americans participated in "tea parties". But dont believe me, lets look at Gallup for a snapshot of how Americans view Obama, shall we.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/117415/Am...a-Economy.aspx

"Over two-thirds of Americans -- 71% -- have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in President Obama to do or recommend the right thing for the economy"

How about Obama's personal approval numbers overall, not just on the economy. His approval number has not dipped below 60% since he was sworn in!!!!

How about the evils of Government expansion into the private sector, or "Socialism" as it is described by Rush and the Republicans. Apparently 53% of Americans approve of Socialism. Who knew???

YEA, YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT. OBAMA DOESNT REPRESENT AMERICANS AND HAS "ONE TERM" WRITTEN ALL OVER HIM.

You laugh and have a grand time with those polls when the sad pathetic truth is they are an embarrassment to our country. Why do you feel the need to point out how stupid so many of our citizens are?

I was simply responding to the poster that said Obama didnt represent Americans and was a one-termer.

I simply provided evidence that while that poster may feel this way, a majority of Americans feel different. Last time I checked, over 50% is a majority and be it the economy, the role of Government in the private sector, or even Obama's personal approval numbers, a majority of Americans approve of what he is doing.

Thus the statement that Obama doesnt represent Americans and is a one-term President cannot be supported at this time. How can he not represent America if the majority of Americans approve of his job, his handling of the economy, ect???

Also, how can the statement that he will be a one-term President be supported by the facts currently??? Now he may turn out to be a one-term President, you never know. However, with an approval number that has never dipped below 60% there is nothing to justify this statement at this time, only personal belief or desire for it to happen.

To the contrary, unless these numbers change significantly, Obama will easily win a 2nd term.

Neither group is ignored.

They're not ignored in the sense that the government doesn't recognize they exist, but they're concerns are largely ignored on the federal level. Of course, gay marriage is a hot topic now, but it took decades for proponents to make any real progress. I just think that Artie was overestimating the power of large groups to bring about change in the government.

69 million in a country of 300+ million.
I don't think that's good proof for your rebuttal; it sadly shows that most Americans don't care and that this guy got in by default.

He represents no one but himself and his benefactors, like all politicians.
