I like it.

Though I am curious where we rate R Brace.

My thinking is more along the lines of where we rate the backup NT position.

The thing is that I think Wade likes Siavii (sp?). IF Wade thinks that he can stuff the run, I think Wade goes for a more versatile DE/NT type in the draft.

And in terms of the other DL we've been looking at, it's been

J Gilbert - a DE
R Miller - probably projects to DE and can play some NT
Moala (sp?) from USC - DE, and with some more weight, can play NT
The DT from Oregon who translates to DE (can't think of his name now).

I think most of these guys are the type that can play both DE and some NT in the 34.

In fact, these players probably start more as DEs, and as they get bigger, they can take some reps at NT as well.

The issue with Brace is that he's purely a NT. That's what he does. It seems to me the players we're looking at are the versatile type for the DL.

EDIT: After I've written all that, now watch us go draft Brace!

Harris is the kid from Oregon, I heard the Steelers like him as well. Great Mock though.

Ya that is a little high for a backup, Id rather us draft Hill, Irvin, Miller, McDonald, or Taylor. in a later round. And draft a WR with our first pick.
The toothbrush had to be invented in West Virginia, if it was created anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.

If Brace is there, I think we take him and cover the NT position early. I think Brace and Williams can start against Tampa Bay. I don't know if Phillips will allow that to happen, but they are certainly capable. Can't ask for more, from your top 2 picks in the draft.
