Niceness Thread
Compliment the opposition to your world view and have a cyber hug, its too testy in here.
Back handed compliments are acceptable if wit and civility accompany:
Ill start,
I get the symbolic appeal of Barack Obama, he is a photogenically appealing president but i think he surrounded with a wife that resemble a horse and a veep that makes him assassination proof to further augment his cleverness and photgenic quality by comparison.
Conan O'Brien will work you until you are pale !

The concept doesn't fit for me because I don't have a political party. I lean Conservative, but I am not a true Conservative by any wild stretch of the imagination.
I did not vote for Barrack Obama because the other candidate was from Arizona.
To this point I am not disappointed in him. I like him.
I hope this qualifies in some way.

While I oppose about 75% of his politics, I have always said that Barack Obama seems like a genuinely good and decent human being. I believe he loves his wife and daughters very much, and we won't be seeing any Lewinsky's in the White House.
Another thing about him I respect - and I said the exact same thing about Bill Clinton 16 years ago - is his primary concern regarding his children's education is what is best for them. So he sent them to the best school possible, even though he takes political heat for it.

Let's see, the opposite of libertarian republicanism is tyrannical dictatorship. Most opposing party would probably be Nazi / Neo-Nazi. I'm not familiar with Nazi policy plans under American law, so I'll go with tyrannical dictators.
Tyrannical dictators usually get to come up with their own fashion and can have those who make fun of their odd looking 'stache transported way deep in the ocean in one of those able-to-sustain-huge-pressure chambers until it gives and implodes in on the person's body.

I can agree with the Dems on some issues: pro legalization of marijuana (well, the Dems that support this), pro ghey marriage, etc.
Hell, if the Dems could actually figure out fiscal responsibility and economic liberalism, I'd side with them. But they seem incapable of it.
Much like the Repubs.

I should have known better than to think this would actually be a reasonable thread. You certainly set the tone quite nicely though.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.
