Default Why does Hot Sauce taste so good yet hurt so bad???

Yesterday morning I ate half a bottle of cayenne pepper hotsauce with my eggs. Yesterday afternoon that same hotsauce came a knockin. Why can't I just eat as much of this stuff as I want without the internal rebellion?

I've gotten burned many times and it's not a good feeling.

Eat about 10 lbs of crawfish with seasoning and wait about 5 hours. You'll be on fire.

As of tomorrow morning our bathrooms will be out of commission due to the new tile being put in our house. My neighbors have been nice enough to let us use their facilities for the next few days, but that type of fury might wear out our welcome pretty quick.

Usually a quarter bottle equates to smooth sailing, I just tend to go a little overboard at times.

The burn going in tastes good but the one going out just stings like a mofo.

IIRC capsaicin is fat soluble. I guess if you didn't like the burn that much you could chew down a stick of butter and avoid it.

Probably not the healthiest way to stop the burn.

What? Was it hotter coming out than it was going in?

Personally, I really don't like spicy foods or their taste except in two cases, and thats Frank's red sauce. Or as it's better know, Buffalo sauce. (ie *real* buffalo wings) The other is, pepper, though it's not real that spicy.
Formerly the notorious nyc!

I've got more red flags than Soviet Russia!

There is a good chance that you don't like me, but there is a better chance that I don't care.

If I'm not insulting you, I'm probably not aware that you exist.

Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.
