Good morning, Cbz and the same to all the regulars. Welcome, Wittenacious, good of you to drop by.
I took today off to give me a long, long weekend, as Canada Day falls on the weekend. For me that means multiple parades (the kilt gets a major workout) and it's an excuse to celebrate.
ABQ, will the kids be wagering their babysitting money? If it's pig races, then all bets should be off.
Ologan, you sound like a Master Gardener. My back really likes the idea of raised beds.
Everybody enjoy the race to the weekend and have a great day.

Will do my dear friend
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair....Bertrand Russell

Thanks, PP. Appreciate all the "Welcome" shout outs. I'll be checking in often, now that I've come to realize how many of our friendliest members regularly post here. Good, positive thread. Love the upbeat nature of it, in Pops honor. Wish I'd known him.
As Yeag said, and I take due notice of...

Morning Cbz. Morning everyone and welcome to the weekend! Y'all have a great day. We cooled off a little bit yesterday and it's supposed to be even cooler today. Of course, "cool" is a relative term, but it's good to be out of triple digits nevertheless.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and Kristie. Morning to all who might stop in.
Just enjoying a cup of coffee before I get out to do some work around here. I truly hope all of you have a great day. Don't think you understand how much I appriciate all of your friendships, here. Feels good to know that I can always count on all of you to have a good word or encouragement on a bad day. Seems simple enough but it sure does make all the difference in the world.
Thank you all. Have a great day.

Made it home and don't plan on moving very far or fast tomorrow....
I have come to the conclusion that the elimination of drugs ,alcohol, and family get to gathers and boy(or girlfriends) reduces your changes of getting killed by 99%
Don't smoke ,get fat or drive and you should make it to 125 years old .

Don't know if he would ever classify anyone as a lost cause. I would bet on the head slap (but on the other hand he did meet you in person )

agreed Pop took all to heart and than went about the process of making them a better person.

A late good evening, Cbz and all Zoners. I have marched in three parades in three separate communities today and my dogs are barking big time. Canada Day was a rip-roaring success as the weather co-operated for our parades. We just got back from watching fireworks on the lake and it was spectacular.
Nice to see the good vibes shared at his locale and I will endeavor to live up to Pop's character standards. I know he was a beloved band teacher, so I feel good when I'm pounding my drum.
The best part of the parades? Marching at the front, before the horses have had a chance to fire off the road apples. What was weird was a change in protocol where we marched in front of the RCMP. In reflection, I just realized that I've been pursued by four separate sets of Mounties this weekend.

Looking at that makes me realize that I'm royally screwed. Good that your home, Bob. I intend to follow your activity example, as it is a stat holiday for us tomorrow.
I hope everybody had a great day.

Morning Weldon and all you zoners. Up a little early this morning. Hope you all have a great day.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Morning Pops, Phil, jobberbone and everyone else who wanders in later on.
Gonna be a short week this week. Looks like great weather as well.
You folks have a great day ahead!

Morning Cbz. Morning jobberone and Sarge. And a hearty good morning to all the rest of the gang too. My sister and her family arrive today from California for a visit. Should be fun.
Phil, I'm glad the weather cooperated and you enjoyed Canada Day.
