Mocktober 1st
1. Morgan Burnett FS 6-1/210 GeorgiaTech
2. Mike Iupati G 6-5/330 Idaho
3. Tyson Alualu NT 6-2/295 Cal
4. Ted Larsen C 6-2/300 NC State
6. Trindon Holliday WR/KR 5-5/168 LSU
7. Brandon Carter G/T 6-6/344 Texas Tech
Used CBS Sports NFL Draftscout for player rankings. As of now, I imagine us drafting in the 20 thru 25 area.
Burnett looks to be the best safety out there not named Berry or Mays. I have a man crush on Iupati. Alualu reminds me of Jay Ratliff. Larsen, or any center, rids us of Cory Procter. Holliday is only 5'5" but is the fastest football player in the nation. Carter is sinking like a rock but I'd take a chance on him in the 7th round.

Brandon Carter really has a 7th round grade? That guy is a total manbeast!!
Love the Burnett pick. He's a baller. And I also like the Iupati pick.
Holliday would be interesting. You could use him in a bunch of different ways with his speed. He could become a Sproles type player.

I still think we should go LT in the 1st
1 OT Anthony Davis*, Rutgers Height: 6-6. Weight: 335 Jr
Bruce Campbell, Maryland 6-7, 310 Jr
Ciron Black, LSU - Height: 6-5. Weight: 315
Charles Brown, USC - Height: 6-6. Weight: 296

2 OG Mike Johnson, Alabama Height: 6-6. Weight: 305.
3 NT Ekom Udofia, Stanford Height: 6-2. Weight: 311
4 WR Naaman Roosevelt, Buffalo Height: 6-0. Weight: 187
6 SS Myron Rolle, SS, Florida State Height: 6-2. Weight: 218 Myron Rolle's triangle numbers pale in comparison to Taylor Mays', but a 4.4 from a 6-2, 218-pound safety ain't too shabby. Rolle has 23 consecutive starts entering the 2008 campaign.
2007: A player with no weaknesses in his game, Myron Rolle started the final 10 games of his freshman year, finishing third on the team with 77 tackles
7 Pat Angerer, Iowa
Height: 6-1. Weight: 233.
Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.
2/19/09: Pat Angerer, a member of the All-Big Ten Second Team, collected 107 tackles, 6.5 TFL, three passes broken up and five intercepions

They wont draft a safety first unless a playmaker falls. They will go O Line, D Line, possibly WR, Safety a distant fourth.

I remember last year in an early season mock I had us drafting David Buehler to improve our kickoffs and everyone blasted me. If we can spend a 6th round pick on a player who would dramatically improve our punt and kick returns, we take him.

WR Naaman Roosevelt, Buffalo Height: 6-0. Weight: 187
In addition to being a prolific receiver, Roosevelt has also done damage as a kick returner, mostly as a freshman before he became one of college’s best receivers. As a freshman, Roosevelt gained 724 yards on 28 kick-offs, scoring one TD. He followed that up with 471 yards on 21 returns in 2007 but was breaking out as a receiver. Roosevelt’s receiving totals jumped from 31 catches for 429 yards and 2 TD to 63 catches for 766 yards and 4 TD and exploded to 104 catches for 1,402 yards and 13 TD last year.

If we're looking for kick/punt returner/WR we can do much better the Jordan Shipley IMO
