I love the Brooks pick. Don't think we use another 1st rounder on CB. We'll probably address that position in FA. I think we use both picks to add some size to our front 7.

Ferguson, at last mention, seems to be staying in school. Also, I don't think Kiwi would get past us at 11 if hes on the board.

It sounds like Alex Smith is going to go very high and would be the second QB off the board. If the Cal QB comes out, there could be 3 QB taken before we pick first.
No Mathias Kiwanuka?
I'm not as big a fan of Ahmad Brooks as I was, but I do think the focus will be the defense, mostly the front seven. I'd rather see any two of the following in round 1: Marcus Spears, Shawne Merriman, or Gabe Watson.

Does anyone know if Gabe Watson is declaring?? This guy is massive, with talent dripping out of him.
If so....we need to take him or Ngata (though I have heard he is staying in school)...with our second pick preferrably.

Has Brooks declared yet? Last I heard, he was iffy, but his father wanted opinions of how high he would go if he declared this year.
I think I'd like a DE instead of a CB in the 1st round.

If Braylon Edwards is available at 11, I would rather take him and hope Brooks falls to our 2nd pick.

I think Edwards and Williams will likely go off the board right around the same pick. Consensus right now is that they are 1a and 1b, and that 2 isn't that close to them. When a team grabs one of them, I'd not be at all surprised to see the other go off the board w/in 2 picks.
