I know that the statement included the offensive line as well. Trouble with the line is that they were healthy....and they still sucked hugely much of the time.

My answer to this is No! BP went into this year thinking the Cowboys had a shot at matching their success of last year. He was going to play the qb he thought could give Dallas the best chance to win. That qb was always Vinny in his mind. He said so.

Yes, I think it played a part. I wanted Henson to get some experience, but the way things were going, ESPECIALLY before Julius returned, it would have been a very bad idea.

No - if they had all played better, chances are Testaverde would have as well, which would have been even less incentive to pull him.
