Moments after his team's 27-24 win over the Redskins, Eagles coach Andy Reid revealed that wide receiver DeSean Jackson has a concussion and he's not sure how severe it is.
"We will just see how he does and do the tests here," Reid said. "He got a little rung. He was able to get up and get off the field really quick."
With running back Brian Westbrook already out because of a concussion, the Eagles know how unpredictable these injuries can be. I don't know off the top of my head how many concussions Jackson has had throughout his career but I'll try to find that out for you guys.
The Eagles will travel to Atlanta for a game next Sunday. The Falcons have a suspect secondary, so it would be a nice to have Jackson in the lineup. If he can't go, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant would likely become the starters. Avant made two huge catches during the Eagles' game-tying drive in the fourth quarter.
