Boy oh boy... Sad stuff.

Since Brusier Brody was killed (some suggest murdered) in '87 there has been one tragedy after another when it comes to pro wrestling.

Of course he was murdered. Another wrestler stabbed him to death.

What did the court say? Self-defense or some such nonsense.

Some say a big part of the goofy verdict was because Tony Atlas didn't testify.

Brody had a reputation for causing problems for bookers, but stabbing the guy obviously wasn't warranted.

Sadly, I don't see any end to this. Every now and then another will pass.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

It's always drugs. They're on the road almost all year and wreak havoc on their bodies. If it isn't painkillers for injuries it's steroids.

I read a couple of sites that said it might be a heart attack.

One site said that his wife woke up and saw he had blood coming out of his nose and was unresponsive. That site also said she took him to the hospital where he had another heart attack.

Don't know how credible it is. I can't imagine any woman being able to move a man that size around.

Blood coming out his nose and a heart attack?

WWE wanted him to go to rehab?

Sounds like a Coc user.

Trust me, don't underestimate the strength of a Samoan woman.

Fox has a slideshow up of Wrestlers who have died. It's really sad and many of them I had no idea passed away. Most are young and many w/ odd heart problems causing death. Real bummer.

Wow...

Talk about the memories.

And that slide show didn't show many of the others like Brody, Mike Awesome and the whole Von Erich catastrophe.
