Default The Steelers(long)

Even though they missed out on the playoffs this year, i still believe that Dan Rooney will have some sort of impact on the outcome of the playoffs and super bowl. For example, since we have 5 super bowls to their 6, i believe Rooney will have some sort of impact on our games, and i believe he will influence the refs to make bad callas against us(not that it hasnt happened already) just to make sure nobody threatens their 6 super bowls. So if you thought yesterdays officiating screwed us over(that on roughing the passer call on Romo was bull ****), then be prepared for it to be even worse in the playoffs and possibly the super bowl, which im hoping and praying that it doesnt happen. The NFL is a corrupt league lead by a corrupt commish, even though most of you already knew that. i am only 22 years old and i dont know why the cowboys get so much hate from the officials and the league, so can someone please fill me in on what the backstory is to that?I was happy the Steelers and Giants got eliminated from the playoffs and i thought for sure Pitt would get in because they are so lucky its sickening. My hatred for the Steelers is on the same level as the Giants Eagles and Redskins, and i hate those stupid terrible towels, i wanna use them to wipe after im done in the bathroom. So even though the Steelers arent participating in the playoffs, look for Rooney to still have some influence, and if/when we get to the big game, its going to be extra hard to play against the AFC team, plus the refs who are wearing the Steelers colors. The league doesnt want any other team to tie the Steelers in Super Bowl victories and i believe that the only other team neck to neck with them in Super Bowl wins is San Fran? but they wont get there for awhile. What i dont understand is that how come Jerry Jones doesnt have this much influence on the league and refs like Rooney does? THe only good thing about Jerry possibly being around for awhile is that maybe someday Dallas will get the refs in their back pocket and the calls going their way.

Why did you post this twice? It was pretty weak the first time.

It was posted as a thread twice. I guess he did not realize it was moved to the NFL zone or something.

I thought I spotted Rooney on a grassy knoll outside the stadium earlier today.

I will admit, that the one scenario I fear is if the Packers end up beating the Saints, say on a saturday,to go to the NFCCG. And we in turn have to beat the vikings to go to the NFCCG on sunday.

Maybe its just the paranoid Mavericks fan in me, but I can see how much the league would love to have the Minny/Pack matchup just one more time for all the marbles. And thereby the refs screwing us on some calls to get their matchup.

Oh, and lee harvey didn't act alone.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. You're 22 and you know for a fact that the NFL is corrupt and will do whatever necessary to keep Dallas from winning another superbowl. Seriously, you believe that? Wouldn't you think if this were true, Jerry Jones would have figured it out and exposed it? Why would he sit back and get screwed? How exactly does an NFL owner influence the officiating crew of a game that doesn't even involve his team? You do realize that merely attempting to do so could/would land said owner in jail for the rest of his life, since most owners are pretty old. I could go on and on but I feel a little ashamed I already wasted 10 minutes on this crap!
