If Jimmy was the head coach of the cowboys this season, the team would be on its way to the SB. In my book the guys is a hall of fame head coach

This franchise hasn't been the same since he left. No shock there.

Guess Reggie missed the part about avoiding bonehead mistakes... Like muffing punts in critical situations.
Ivy League
Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

I wasnt aware that Jimmy played offensive line???
The way our o-line was playing against the Vikes, it would not have mattered if Lombardi was our head coach, we still would have lost.
EDIT****Jimmy was a HOF coach before free agency and salary cap came into being. People ask why Jimmy was such a failure in Miami, well the difference was when he was in Dallas he did not have to worry about a salary cap or free agency. I highly doubt Jimmy would be successful in today's NFL.

Jimmy wouldn't be able to coach the players nowadays. It isn't the same as it was back then, when it was better. The players nowadays would just tune him out. Complain about it on twitter and keep rollin'.
The 90's were great for this team, but, let it go already.
Offensive line plays even half as good as it was prior to that Vikings game and you are looking at Dallas in the SB.
Course, the defense would have to play as well as they were playing too.

More karma? Childress consults Andy Reid before the Cowboys game for hints, and his team wins. So the Saints consult with Jimmy Johnson before their game, and they win.

More like Minny losing than the Sants winning. If Minny could hold onto the ball they win by 3 TDs, that Saints defense is garbage.
Colts will rip them a new one!!!

Didn't Jimmy Johnson want his Miami boy Steve Walsh to be the starting QB until Jerry set him straight and "persuaded" him to make Aikman the starter?
iv'e heard that a few times before over the years

Exactly.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I agree with this.
I believe Minnesota was the better team but make crucial mistakes when it matter.
However, I don't think the Super Bowl will be a walk in the park for the Colts, but they will ultimately win it.
I believe it could be just like the Patriots/Panthers Super Bowl a few years ago.
