It was very good. I watched it twice and it brought back some memories. Those two are the reason the NBA soared in the 80s and 90s. Jordan took it to another level but Bird and Magic started it. I also loved how Magic and Bird were intense rivals all while growing to respect each other and then towards the end become really good friends. This reminded me of one of the 30 for 30 series on ESPN except it was on HBO. Weird.

The Golden Era of the NBA was clearly the 80's. Bird vs Magic; Celtics Vs Lakers. Nothing has come close since.

Hard to say. I think Kobe, LeBron, Wade etc are better players, better shape, better training etc than Bird and Magic's teams.
Those series in the 1980s were great. I liked the Celtics then, now if I had to choose, would go for Lakers. Celtics were way too white though.

Imagine Magic running the fast break in today's NBA where dribbling is optional.
